Google Shopping 2024
During the 2024 holiday shopping season, New Yorkers may have walked past a DOOH ad in their neighborhood that truly resonated with them. The ability to create hyper-local ads - targeted to focus on the demographic and shopping habits using Google’s Trend Data, with tailored copy - was brought to life using Google Gemini, Imagen 3, and a proprietary AI video pipeline. Dozens of bespoke videos were generated and served to LinkNYC displays via a custom API.
What separates this from your standard DOOH is the ability to scale hundreds of video variations with custom product imagery and copy, then review the output in a CMS for easy reference and approval at the neighborhood block level. This enabled a holiday surprise and delight moment when we used the LinkNYC signs during the Macy’s Day Parade, swapping out the creative in real time to serve ads to parade attendees along the route.
