U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Activate Special Warfare is a VR-only mobile tour experience that leveraged motion capture technology to recreate a TV spot, β€œThe Calm and the Storm,” in VR for users to engage in the experience. Our team worked collaboratively with the production partner from the shoot site in New Mexico capturing photogrammetry and mapping out the set. From there we recorded motion capture content at the Sony Playstation San Diego studio with two Airmen recreating the TV spot scene.

The VR experience consists of 4D elements with photo real, computer-generated details. It also assesses the user's composure, observation, reaction and effectiveness while playing.
