Royel Otis: hickey Album Release
In August of 2025, Spotify hosted Royel Otis’ top fans in an intimate setting at the iconic Village Underground in London. Performing songs from their newly released album for the very first time, Royel Otis played a mix of their hits and new songs such as Kool Aid, moody, car, Sofa King, and Linger for over 500 of their fans.
For this event, I helped lead the artist advancement during pre-pro and on-site execution. I spearheaded the artist arrival details, as their crew was on the road and required clear guidance on venue logistics, as well as tech and stage setup requirements - liaising between the artist team, our production partners, and venue staff to ensure the stage plot was ready to plug and play upon arrival. During the show, I worked closely with our stage manager to ensure the artist crew and artists were all set up for success for their performance.
The event featured a variety of touchpoints to keep fans engaged, including a photo booth, free themed food & bev, a “grunge charm bar,” tearaway posters, and UGC photo moments. This one of a kind experience allowed fans to connect to the artists in a more intimate setting, and the lead musicians even hung around after to spend time with fans.
